You will find a few tavernas and hotels along the shoreline, but don't expect anything fancy.
The beach is easily reached from Rhodes town by bus or taxi, but take notice that as it is near to the airport you will be witness to the constant aircrafts flying over. Yet, this is a great place to get some solitude, as it is not extremely popular with bathers, but don't expect to be on your own either.

The village of Soroni, which is just a few hundred meters away, will also provide you with tavernas and supermarkets if you need something during the day.

Agios Georgios beach is a marvelous place for those with an appetite for solitude with their partner and a Jeep. It offers moist, spotless sand and cedars, for you and your loved one.
