You will find a few tavernas and hotels along the shoreline, but don't expect anything fancy.
The beach is easily reached from Rhodes town by bus or taxi, but take notice that as it is near to the airport you will be witness to the constant aircrafts flying over. Yet, this is a great place to get some solitude, as it is not extremely popular with bathers, but don't expect to be on your own either.

The village of Soroni, which is just a few hundred meters away, will also provide you with tavernas and supermarkets if you need something during the day.

Apart from a couple of excellent tavernas there is not much tourism happening in Laerma, although one of the main reasons for perhaps visiting the area is the Monastery Taxiarchis Michail at Tharri 4km southwest.
