Agios Isidoros, a mountainous village 65 km from Rhodes town, with a height of 532 m is built on the eastern slopes of Mt. Attavyros, (Embona village).

Agios Isidoros, a mountainous village 65 km from Rhodes town, with a height of 532 m is built on the eastern slopes of Mt. Attavyros, (Embona village). The village has not been influenced by tourism and has preserved all its customs. The most important event of the year, Easter, is celebrated in true tradition. Its visitors can enjoy a healthy climate and the hospitality of the inhabitants. The locals still today provide their own products such as wine, honey, 'souma' (similar to ouzo) and olive oil. There is a pathway which leads to Mt. Attavyros with a height of 1,215 for walking enthusiasts it would take approx 2 hours to reach the top. The small church of St. John is now an old ruin.

The hotel is on mount Profitis Elias (Prophet Elias), near the Byzantine monastery with the same name. It comprises two buildings, a three-storeyed one, "Elafos" and a two-storeyed one, "Elafina", both with a basement and a high pitched wooden roof.
