Seven Springs (Epta Piges)
I have to admit that we expected more, the area is very nice and quiet though and there is a nice little river. There is also a tunnel, which we did not know that you can walk through, so did not manage to see the waterfall. There is a restaurant right inside the nature where you can eat something. There are also peacocks and ducks, which are happy about bread (but not recommended as it is not their natural food). People with limited mobility will not find it easy to visit.

Kalavarda
Born in Kalavarda, raised in Australia. Kalavarda is a nice, quiet place to go and relax or visit Johny's tavern where his wife does the fresh cooking, or visit the little "pub" for something stronger to drink and possibly find decent company.

Ancient Kamiros
I've visited Kamiros 3 times and every time I was fascinated by the ruins and the ambiance. It invites you to sit down and relax under a tree, enjoy the beautiful view and listen to the cicadas. The sunset is awesome. Very few people around, which is wonderful! Highly recommended. I'm pretty sure I'l go back for more!

Orchids of Rhodes
Pokud to půjde zkusím to příští rok. Jsem začátečník a zamiloval si orchideje jako další zálibu v důchodu. Zatím jsem byl na Garganu.
S pozdravem Jindřich

Hello, Your photos are as beautiful as most orchids in Rhodes. I was supposed to fly there this year, but unfortunately due to covid- 19 I couldn't. I had a paid stay in Lindos from 1.4.-7.4. I am very sorry that I could not visit this beautiful place. I had a map ready and drawn places where I would like to look and take pictures of orchids. If I can, I'll try it next year. I'm a beginner and fell in love with orchids as another hobby in retirement. I've been to Gargano so far.
Regards Jindřich

Taste the flavours of Rhodes: An introduction to Rhodian gastronomy & traditional diet
This article is wonderful. :) What an extraordinary array of delicious foods! Such a small place, such an enormous variety of traditional foods. :)

Ancient Kamiros
I visited Ancient Kamiros about 20 years ago and I’ve never been able to forget it. I had a strong feeling of what it must have been like to live there. It was palpable and for me, somehow emotional.

Rhodes Old Medieval Town
My husband and I have been going to Rhodes for twenty five years. I have travelled extensively to many places! For me it is one of my favorite places. No matter how often I have been there I always see and find something that I missed the last time. I love the labyrinth of the old town with its cobbled streets, unique shops and restaurants, but most of all it is the magic of its history, you can almost feel the agony and ecstasy of times of old, at times I feel if you listen hard enough you can hear the Knights and feel and smell the battles that told place. It almost as if the stone walls hold the memories of all the blood that was split in the times of war and chaos. At the same time the beauty of it architecture takes you breath away, It is a very magical place and one that I hold dear to my heart and soul. I hope to return again one day before go too join the Knights in there forever sleep!

Lindos
Lived there 87 & 88, been back lots since. The bakery was in the village back then and the smell of baking bread on the way home from acropolis disco, The loveliest place ever, the villagers are what makes Lindos. They are amazing always helpful and friendly, it's like going home. Wonderful beaches people and atmosphere!

Tsambika Monastery
My mother climbed all 309 steps in 1962 to pray for my birth. I was born in March of 1963. My first name at birth was Tsambika and Kari my middle. My mother is Greek from Chania, Crete. Unfortunately, we moved to the US and no one could say my name so they legally changed it to my middle name. I have visited Tsambika several times and walked the same path as my mother and will return again when travel restrictions are lifted. Blessings to all who visit and pray.
