Haraki (Charaki)
Thanks to everyone at Haraki Bay Hotel & Cocktails & Dreams, in July 2014 we had a wonderful time, we are going back again this year for the same fortnight and we cannot wait...we tried quite a few different restaurants in Haraki...everywhere was good, the place is absolutely outstanding and we cannot recommend it enough...the only problem is if you praise it up too much everyone will want to have holidays there, selfishly it is nice to keep a little bit of heaven all to ourselves...roll on July...

Butterfly Valley (Valley of Butterflies, Petaloudes)
Back in 1966 I spent my honeymoon on Rhodes. There were many great places to visit and Valley of Butterflies is one of the most memorable. An absolutely stunning visit with nature and those beautiful butterflies remain vivid after all these years. A must see if anywhere near the amazing island.

Rhodes: Top things to do, places to visit, attractions and activities
Always fascinates me how, despite time moving on, some things never change. The light, the water, the spirit of history but also the present struggle and life. A lot to see and do for all ages, just pick the right spot and attitude.

I will be going back home this year again, for a holiday!

Lindos Beach
I brought my new wife here in 2007. I had been many times before, with the lads, with my 1st wife, with my children. It was our 1st holiday together and I was anxious, she might not like it as much as I did. We arrived in the evening and were deposited at reception by the shuttle bus and we followed the directions to our accommodation, dropped our bags and stepped out. My wife was very quiet as we walked down the main street. I decided to show her the bay and dropped into the Rainbird Bar to be greeted by Nikos. "Welcome home" he said...
My wife cried. We've been back every year since and are already booked for next year !!!
