At the beach of Kavourakia you will find a wide range of facilities as well as car and bike rentals. Since it is an organized beach, you will find sunbeds and umbrellas, beach showers and sanitary facilities.

There are taverns and restaurants primarily specializing in sea food made from fresh sea catch supplied by local fishermen.

The waters are of very good quality, and the small fishing harbour adds to the atmosphere, making it a distinctive and memorable beach at first sight. The length of the beach is 500m.

On most parts of the beach can enter the sea over pebbles and a rocky shoreline, so at some places steps to enter the waters have been built for convenience. The waters here are also suitable for snorkeling.

It is easily reachable from Rhodes town and from the airport, and there are regular bus connections. It is only 6km away from the center of Rhodes town and 20km away from from the airport.
