Monolithos

Whitewashed courtyards with geraniums, stone houses with tile roofs looking out over the waves, the rocks with the mediaeval castle at their peak, windswept deserted beaches for playing games in the waves - a landscape of unspoiled beauty, difficult to find elsewhere on Rhodes.

Siana

The village of Siana is built amphitheatrically on the slopes of Mount Akramitis, south of the City of Rhodes and north-east of the village of Monolithos.

Kritinia

The medieval castle that looks out over the sea towards Chalki, standing on a pine-clad hill on the north-western coast of Rhodes, welcomes you to the region of Kritinia - called the forgotten border region by the inhabitants of the village. What makes it really worth a visit is the wild beauty of the landscape.

Paradisi

Paradisi is a traditional village on the northwest coast of Rhodes where you will find many restaurants, byzantine churches and friendly people. The bus service from and to Rhodes city is excellent.

Kremasti

Kremasti lies on the west coast. Its a busy village with rooms, apartments and a few package hotels.

Gennadi (Genadi)

The village resort of Gennadi itself is a peaceful and quiet place with pink villas with towers and futuristic structures, virgin sands, hotels, and beach bars.

Archangelos (Arhangelos)

The village Archangelos (Arhangelos) is regarded very faithful to traditions. The centre of the village is dominated by the church of the Archangel Michael, with its fine campanile dating from 1845.

Trianta

The village of Trianta, which can be found on the edge of the homonym gulf, has been built on the ancient Doric town of Ialyssos. Like the rest of the area, the village is very social and although it attracts of visitors every year, it has managed to keep its character of a characteristic Rhodian village.

Kalithies

The village of Kalithies offers narrow alleys and numerous monuments. Kalithies, which is located on the north-west part of the island, 15Km from the city of Rhodes, belongs to the municipality of Kalithea, along with the villages of Koskinou and Psinthos.

Koskinou

House doors painted in vivid colors, made of wood or iron, with carved or etched designs. Little gardens with their cobbled floors hidden behind the courtyard doors. Koskinou in Rhodes is famous for its unique mosaic of colours.
