Rhodes among the 100 best city destinations in the world

An important distinction at a global level for Rhodes, as it is among the 100 best city destinations in the world, according to a global study that evaluates cities in terms of tourism, sustainability and economic performance.

Paris has been ranked first for the second consecutive year in Euromonitor International's Top 100 City Destinations ranking, which is based on a comparison of 57 metrics across six "key pillars" - economic and business performance, tourism performance, tourism infrastructure, tourism policy and attractiveness, health and safety and sustainability.

The annual report, published in partnership with data intelligence firm Transparent Intelligence, ranks Dubai in second place, followed by Amsterdam (third) and Madrid (fourth). Other notable results include Los Angeles being the second best city in America (14th on the list), Sydney only coming in 32nd, but ahead of Melbourne (34th), and Edinburgh coming in 54th, in contrast to Time Out's listing of it as the world's best city for 2022.

As far as Greece is concerned, in addition to Rhodes, the top 100 includes Athens, Heraklion and Thessaloniki.
