Very beautiful castle. I visited the castle on Lindos during my trip to Rhodes last year. I loved this castle!

We stayed at Elafos Hotel last year for 1 night at the end of our holiday it was magical the staff are lovely we hope to return again this year.

The Rhodes Archaeological Museum is quite fascinating. A tour of it is very worthwhile. vast exhibitions and areas. The only thing that is lacking is a piece of writing or guidebook explaining the museum. But if you asked, staff there would teach you something. It features spotless restrooms. If you decide to go, even in the afternoon when the sun is strong, there is a place with shade and pleasant coolness. I'd return with the kids as well as they liked it.

Ακρόπολη της Ρόδου (Λόφος Αγίου Στεφάνου, Monte Smith)
We had a great time when we were at the Acropolis of Rhodes. It is easy to locate and there is enough parking space. Don't be intimidated by the scaffolding on the pillars closest to the road; this was the only scaffolding. A vending machine, and an exhibition room in the compound's north wall that will tell you everything there is to know about the ruins and archaeological discoveries and restrooms are some of the things we found there. We loved watching the show while sitting in the theater, exploring the grounds and the stadium. According to what we've read, the acropolis was once a place for teaching and physical training, as well as a public garden and recreation area. Even now, it definitely had the atmosphere of a public garden. Well worth a visit if you are interested in Greek history.

Ancient Kamiros är en fantastisk plats, ja rent häpnadsväckande, det är lätt att drömma sig bort och nästan framför sig se hur platsen får liv och hur människor från den tiden rör sig runt i staden. Vårt besök var för kort på platsen men på den korta tiden vi var där hann vi reflektera mycket och intrycket är bestående…

A beautiful region in Rhodes where visitors may see the well-preserved Ancient Odeon and the Ancient Olympic Stadium. There are a few well-preserved pillar remnants and a temple with scaffolding. Access to the building was unrestricted.

Αρχαιολογικό μουσείο Ρόδου
This is a beautiful building with antiquities on two floors. If you enjoy artifacts or antiquities, this is place is worth the couple of hours it takes to explore. The ground floor is not permitted for photography. The second floor is off limits to tripods.

Κάστρο Μονολίθου
We arrived to Monolithos Castle after a breathtaking journey along the island's western coast. Because cell coverage was spotty, getting there was a bit of a challenge. The vistas were breathtaking, and there was enough of signs to learn about the castle. I'd love to see the Rhodes tourism office provide a driving tour commentary on its sights. I believe it would encourage more people to visit this part of the island.

Going to Rhodes in the end of June / beginning of July. Reading everyone’s write ups I can’t wait a holiday is to be ventured and it certainly sounds like a superb place to take a holiday. Can’t wait!

My wife and I visited Rhodes just before covid and have been trying to get back since.
We are (hopefully) going july 2022 and cannot wait.
I have been holidaying to all the Greek isles over the last 20 odd years and this is one for the bucket list.
Besides the normal charm of the Greek people, everything here is perfect. Restaurants, shops, scenery water walks, just all perfect.
