The warm and welcoming villagers of Platania are primarily engaged in the tourism industry, though many also maintain strong ties to their agricultural roots. This harmonious blend of occupations lends a unique character to the community, making it a truly unforgettable destination for those seeking an authentic and peaceful Greek experience.

At the Taverna Perama we ate delicious home cooked food prepared in a wood fired oven. There are tremendous views from here too. The atmosphere is pleasant & relaxed.
