The is not much tourist activity taking place here, and the village hangs onto its traditions and cultures. This is a village you would stay in if you were only looking for complete quite and calm. The monastery dedicated to St John and the monastery of Kameiri from the Byzantine period give some interest to the village, its spectacular belfry being the focal point. My husband was born in Massari, and left for Australia in 1955. He is now 81 years but often talks about it and him and his brother Michael own land there as you drive in off the highway. Near the roundabout. We have been back a few times. Love From Australia
