The clear crystal clear waters and the smooth waves gently breaking on the beach make you want to play in the sun or relax on the sunbed in the shade of the umbrella.
The beach of Laros is located about 3 km from the village of Lardos, a typical Greek village with warm open people and good food. It is on the south-east side of the island, within easy reach of Lindos village. There are many tavernas along the beach where you can get a chilled drink or a quick snack while you soak up the sun.
Alternatively, there are a wide range of water sports to choose from, and even a fast but safe go-kart track for fun for the whole family.
You will find all sorts of accommodation facilities along the beach. The waters here are shallow, so it is also well suitable for younger children.
Lardos beach is great for a quite and relaxing day under the sun.
Kolymbia (or Kolympia) is an organized, mostly sandy beach, but by no means as crowded as the neighbouring beach of Faliraki. The hotels in the area are mostly preferred by elderly visitors and families, so the atmosphere in the entire area is somewhat relaxed.
